Summit Story

With its two top leaders having over 60 combined years of engineering, product development, product management and parts & service leadership experience in the agricultural equipment, auto and electric vehicle (EV) industries, Summit’s Tractors was formed from a new vision for how compact tractors and related equipment are designed, where they are sold, financed, and serviced.

Our tractors are ready to go to work, with standard features such rear remotes, 3rd function valves, drawbars, tow hooks, skid-steer quick-attach self-leveling loaders, a great seat, simple controls, a toolbox, enhanced lighting features and much more; all things that are typically available only as options elsewhere.

We believe that compact tractors should be available for sale at leading farm supply and home improvement retailer store locations, where tractor owners and prospective owners regularly shop for many related products.

We believe that tractor buyers should be able to apply for financing 24/7 from any connected device, and that all loan documents are produced and signed electronically to streamline the entire process.

We also believe that providing consistently great parts & service support is at the foundation of our brand’s identity, so we have partnered with high-quality tractor service dealers located right in the communities where the tractors are sold. Add in the industry’s longest full machine warranty at three years, Summit puts quality, reliability, and service at the top of our priorities.

Offering fully equipped tractors, convenient locations to buy, competitive prices, a simple financing process, the industry’s longest warranty, and providing extraordinary service are what guides us, and we commit to always striving to meet the expectations of Summit Tractor owners as they use the equipment to fulfill their dreams for the family homestead.

Doug Rehor

Summit’s Founder & CEO Doug Rehor served eight years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, followed by five years in the National Security Division of the Battelle Memorial Institute before beginning his nearly 30-year agricultural equipment career at Case Corporation, later merged with New Holland to form CNH Industrial. He held numerous product development, engineering, product management and business performance leadership roles there, and continued in similar positions at AGCO, later forming a compact tractor-focused consulting company in 2012; developing compact tractor businesses within the major retail outdoor and farm supply environments. Combining those experiences from the traditional OEM/dealer and the major retail sales channels for tractors, he later formed Summit Tractors in 2020 to offer compact tractor enthusiasts a new way to research, buy, finance, and obtain quality parts & service support. He is a past member of the Ag Sector Board of Directors of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
