QI've never heard of Summit Tractors. Can you tell me about the company?

The manufacturer of Summit brand tractors and owner of the Summit Tractors brand is International Tractors Limited (ITL). ITL is the world's 5th largest tractor manufacturer in unit volume and the largest exporter of tractors in India, distributing its tractors to over 150 countries worldwide. With a workforce of over 5,500, including 400 engineers, ITL features the world's largest integrated tractor factory, and is accredited with international certificates including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO TS 16949.

Majority ownership of ITL is held by the founding Mittal family, with Yanmar having a minority stake.

Summit Tractors was founded in 2020 by its then and current CEO, a long-time tractor industry and U.S. Air Force veteran. Summit brand tractors have always been manufactured by ITL. After bringing the Summit Tractors brand to market and establishing its network of leading farm & ranch and home improvement retailers, Summit Tractors and ITL joined forces. ITL is now not only the manufacturer — they are also the owner and distributor of the Summit Tractors brand.

QTell me about the tractors.

Summit's tractors and front-end loaders are manufactured by ITL. Our tractors are all premium spec; made for the North America market. The flagship tractor (Summit TX25H) is a 24.7HP open station and cab platform, targeted to the rural lifestyle consumer, contractors, hobby farmers, horse and other animal owners, hunters and anyone that maintains their own property.

The Goodyear R14T Tires and wheel assemblies are manufactured by Titan International in the U.S. Backhoes are manufactured in Kiel, WI, and most attachments & implements are made in the U.S.

Standard features on all Summit TX25H tractors: 24.7 HP Mitsubishi diesel engine, hydrostatic transmission, 3rd function hydraulics, self-leveling loader, rear hydraulic remotes, rear and mid-PTOs, 4WD, differential lock, category 1 3-pt hitch with position control, cruise control, premium suspension seat, swinging and cross drawbars, front tow hook, rear work light, projector headlights, toolbox, 7-pin trailer sockets, 12v USB, and side view mirrors.

Focusing on a single platform narrows the range of potential service issues — procedures are well-documented and will present little challenge for any service provider experienced with compact tractor and wheeled OPE.

QWhere are Summit Tractors sold?

Additional retailers will be joining in early 2026.
